Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics is off until you choose Allow analytics. It uses analytics cookies and technical visit information to measure normalized page categories. We do not send account details, form contents, private workspace content, query strings, or URL identifiers as analytics parameters. Advertising features are disabled. Use the Analytics choices button to reject or withdraw consent. Choices last 180 days in this browser; Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track keep Google Analytics off. See Google’s privacy policy.
This notice explains how we use information through Outvision’s website, learning accounts, creator tools, newsletter and AI features.
Information we handle
- Account and sign-in information, including email, account identifiers and information shared when you choose a social sign-in provider.
- Saved work, startup plans, course progress, favorites, ratings, uploaded course materials, prompts and context submitted to AI features.
- Subscription status, customer and transaction references and billing information handled through Stripe. Payment-card details are collected by Stripe’s checkout.
- Support correspondence, newsletter preferences, consent records and basic technical information used for delivery, security and abuse prevention.
Purposes and legal bases
We use information to provide accounts and requested services, process subscriptions, save your work, deliver AI requests and respond to support. Where applicable, this processing is necessary to perform our contract with you. We also process information for legitimate interests in security, fraud prevention and operating the service, subject to your rights, and to comply with legal obligations. We rely on consent for newsletter subscriptions and optional device storage that requires consent. You may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Providers and disclosures
Our service uses providers for hosting, authentication, databases, payments, email, video and AI processing. These include Vercel, Supabase, Stripe and OpenAI for AI requests; some course production or playback uses Synthesia. Your selected Google or Facebook sign-in is also governed by that provider’s privacy practices. Service providers receive information needed for their functions. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and security, or in a business transfer subject to applicable protections.
We do not sell newsletter subscriber lists. Newsletter consent is separate from account creation and purchases. Use the unsubscribe link in a newsletter to stop marketing messages; necessary account and billing messages may continue.
AI requests
When you choose an AI feature, the prompt and context needed for that request are sent to OpenAI through the currently configured AI integration. Outvision also handles usage information to apply your allowance. Do not submit confidential, sensitive or third-party personal information without authorization. Contact us for current provider and data-handling details before submitting regulated or confidential material.
Cookies and device storage
We use browser storage for sign-in, requested learning functions and privacy preferences. Optional reminders and automatic introductory experiences are controlled through Cookie & Storage Choices. Third-party pages you choose to open have their own practices. Fonts, images and media served by external providers can involve transmission of technical connection information.
Retention and international processing
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for its purpose, considering account activity, the service you request, legal recordkeeping, disputes, security and backup cycles. Cancellation does not automatically delete your account or legally required billing records. Minimal unsubscribe records may be retained to honor your preferences.
Our business is in the United States and providers may process information in other countries. Applicable privacy law may require safeguards for international transfers. Contact us for information about the arrangements applicable to your data; this notice does not treat your use of the site as consent to waive transfer protections.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, a copy or portability of information, restriction of processing, or object to certain uses. You may withdraw consent and complain to your local data-protection authority. We may need proportionate identity verification and may retain information where law permits or requires it. We will respond within applicable legal time limits and will not penalize you for exercising protected rights. Send privacy requests to privacy@outvision.com or to our business mailing address.
Children and updates
Outvision accounts and purchases are intended for adults aged 18 and over. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. We may update this notice as our practices change and will provide further notice where required.
